The Implementation team is the part of TravelPerk s Sales Team, responsible for the onboarding of all our Premium and Pro customers on the TravelPerk platform.

This process includes account set up, integrations and customer training. When a new customer is signed, the customer will be introduced to a dedicated Implementation Specialist.

As such, you will ensure the account will be set up accordingly and that both Admins and Travelers are trained on the Travelperk Platform.

You work through any needed integrations and then set training sessions to ensure that the customer is ready to start booking before they are introduced to the Account Management team.

Our Senior Implementation Specialists are primarily responsible for the onboarding of large Enterprise clients with more complex and technical requirements that require a consultative approach.

What You Will Do

  • Participate in the sales process wherever and whenever needed. Senior Sales Executives will often rely on you during the sales process including pre-signature client pitches.
  • It will be your responsibility to clearly articulate the value proposition of TK’s implementation offering, understand a client’s technical complexities and explain solutions which cater to the customer’s needs.

    Your participation contributes to the closing and successful onboarding of new customers.

  • Once assigned a new account, you will provide technical guidance on complex integrations pertaining to both Expense Management and User Provisioning via our Open API, while also holding extensive knowledge in our direct integrations.
  • You will not need to code, however, you will lead some technical conversations while collaborating and seeking advice from the product teams whenever necessary by demonstrating clear ownership of the process.

    Your ability to navigate through technical conversations and ability to learn and understand how our integrations work will be crucial.

  • Successfully implement and onboard both SMB and Enterprise clients. You will be responsible for the full implementation process of a new customer - from introduction, training and follow up.
  • You will be required to carry out conversations regarding product knowledge and be responsible to convey this information to the customer in a clear and distinct manner.

    You will work collaboratively with Product, Partnerships, Sales and Account Management teams to ensure you deliver the best outcome for the customer's success.

  • Impact over Effort : You will demonstrate the ability to go beyond the implementation textbook and offer a unique bespoke consultative approach to our clients.
  • You are responsible to understand the customer and ensure you deliver a solution to fit the customers requirements. You will also have the ability to keep the momentum going and make sure that the customers are engaged and willing to complete the process as soon as possible.

  • Ready to take on new challenges as the business evolves. You will be at the forefront of implementing new clients. You will demonstrate the ability to be flexible and take on new initiatives by either customers or companies.
  • Through partnerships and other means, you will have to understand the technical challenges faced by our customers and find the solution that fits their needs.

    Driving conversations with our product and or partnership teams will be a collaborative effort to ensure the best interest of the customer.

    As a Senior Implementation Specialist you are expected to carry a portfolio of our larger and more technical clients. Your customers are companies, mostly, with budgets over 1M in travel annually and require technical integrations to create the best solution for their needs.

    They will require a consultative approach all while understanding their current and present needs.

  • Demonstrates the ability to apply our existing implementation process all the while being proactive to uncover work-arounds and new ways to accommodate a client's specific needs in an always evolving environment.
  • Takes ownership of projects such as developing client material, initiating new process improvements and can be relied upon to resolve any issues that arise with minimal support.
  • Demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate and influence the Senior Stakeholders regarding complex account set ups.
  • Is able to handle and understand the language of integrations and technical set-up requests from clients involving the Open API, SCIM, Partnerships Integrations and SSO in a very effective and timely manner.
  • Responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders to consult clients on the best solutions that meet their needs and deliver the proper solution.

  • Recognizes gaps and takes initiative to suggest internal improvements in the implementation process to improve efficiency.
  • Is a leading figure within the team, trusted as a source of expertise and information both internally and externally.
  • Is able to create urgency and keep the momentum going by keeping the customers engaged during the implementation process.
  • What We Look For

  • 2 years of prior onboarding / implementation experience
  • Full working proficiency in English, other languages are a plus
  • Prior project management experience (1-5 years) is a plus
  • Ability to set clear timeframes and objectives
  • Stakeholder management of all levels of seniority within both small and large corporations
  • Proven previous API Integration experience is a plus
  • Added benefit of prior startup experience, travel industry experience is a plus

  • We will require you to travel to the Barcelona office hub twice per week
  • In addition, every quarter you could be required to travel to an office hub location for up to 5 days to meet with your whole team
  • We have flexible working hours to fit around your life
