Job Responsibilities

As our new IoT Sales Development Manager, you can expect the following tasks and responsibilities :

Identify sales opportunities and utilize Customer Relationship Management Tools (Salesforce) to track, report, and grow opportunity pipeline

Analyze and map customer’s business processes & end-customer’s IoT needs

Consult customers on their IoT strategy and potential for differentiation in the market

Create customer specific implementation plans by addressing their IoT needs to provide holistic value-adding solutions using custom and off-the-shelf products

Collaborate with product owners and development teams to adjust or create custom solutions to customer needs

Grow value through continued strategic roadmap consulting and ongoing after-sales dialogue

Manage and track customer solution progress and deliverables with internal and external stakeholders

Create collaborative relations with stakeholders from other Business Areas, Distribution partners, and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) in the European region

Communicate effectively to all levels of an organization, incl. senior management

Represent our solutions at promotion events, trade shows and trainings

Business travel is expected up to 30-40% of your daily schedule

Background & Skills

To be successful, we expect you to possess a bachelor’s and or master’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 3 years of work experience with IoT, software or services in a B2B context.

The ideal candidate would have a technical understanding of IoT and Cloud platforms. Experience with business analysis or business consulting is preferred.

Knowledge of electric or electronic component systems is a plus.

Additionally, we are looking for :

Curious and fast learner

Knowledge of key IT tools : MS Office applications, Salesforce

Ability to work effectively in a high quality, deadline driven environment

Strong interpersonal skills and dedicated team player across country borders, time zones and organizational levels

Good time and stakeholder management skills

Energetic, proactive and self-driven, but able to find compromises between multiple and sometimes conflicting interests

Knowledge of the Danfoss Power Solutions’ target markets and applications with a broad knowledge of the sales process is a plus

Fluent (in word and writing) English language skills. Other languages would be a strong plus

Understanding of agile development methodologies is a plus

Excellent donut selecting skills is central for any consideration
