To fulfil the regulatory role of EHS Responsible as required by Ley 31 / 1995 for Abrera plant, Product Care plant in Nazare (Portugal) and Viladecans offices.
The role will also support the field organisation in meeting its regulatory obligations for working on customer premises and provide support to office based personnel working for Sealed Air.
Ensure compliance of operations to applicable rules and regulations by : leading implementation of corporate standards within the local organisation;
managing and co-ordinating acvtivities in site compliance calendars; liaising with stakeholder functions and third party professional consultants;
ensure prompt and accurate follow-up of EHS related incidents
Lead key site programs such as risk assessment, safety inspections and behavioural based safety programs ensuring senior and line management participation
Establish and review local EHS improvement plans, providing input to local EHS targets and objectives; ensure key EHS data is reported promptly and accurately as required by regional programmes
Develop EHS awareness through use of lean communication tools and other awareness building activities
Support regional and area EHS initiatives, such as EHS Compliance Audit programme by coordinating the completion of identified corrective actions and participating in regional audits as required
Develop and maintain close working relationships with third-party EHS contractors and local regulatory / enforcement bodies
Tecnico Superior en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales
Degree in a technical discipline (Safety, Hygiene, ergonomics).
Experience of at least three years as an EHS Responsible or EHS co-ordinator at a manufacturing facility
Experience of ATEX processes and risk management
