    JOB TITLE : CONFIGURATION AND CHANGE ENGINEER Based (city) : Madrid. Travel : Sometimes travel will be required. Duration : Permanent .

    JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY : Preparation / maintenance of configuration during the whole life-cycle of the Project / Program SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES OF THE ROLE : Organisational Reporting Dotted report line to Project Engineering Manager (PrEM) -

    during project execution *Direct report line depends on Regional Center and it can be :

  • within RC Projects Engineering Organisation or
  • within Methods & Tools organisation present on Regional Center (within Regional Center Global Performance) Mission. Performance Measurement
  • Completeness of configuration items in the configuration database, as stated by the plan
  • Accuracy, completeness and consistency of delivery sheets against baselines contents
  • Adherence to TIS standard process, evaluated during audits Responsibilities
  • For project, there are typically 3 types of configurations : "as-designed", "as-built" (or as-shipped), "as-installed" (or as-
  • delivered). For a product / system, there is only "as-designed" configuration.

  • Factory CCM is responsible for as-designed and as-shipped configuration and Site CCM is responsible for as-installed configuration.
  • Responsibilities of Factory CCM : -Establish and maintain the Project (Program) Configuration Management Plan (CMP) -Establish and maintain the project (program) configuration management system (CM repository organization, access rights, etc.
  • and administers the project (program) configuration management tools. -Provide a support to PrEM to maintain the complete TIS system configuration, including subsystem baseline integration -

    Be the interfaces with domain / metiers leaders to ensure that sub-system baselines delivered to the PrEM are consistent.

  • Create and publish baselines, participates in elaborating system safety delivery sheets. -Monitor changes to baselines and establishes CCB reports -
  • Be the interface with Site Configuration Manager -Create and publish indicators defined in the CMP Responsibilities of Site CCM : -

    Deploy CM process to site teams for Installation, Test & Commissioning, Warranty and Maintenance. -Provide Advitium and CQ Modal support to PrCOM, PrIM and PrWM to guarantee that tools are used with the good rules.

  • Provide the frozen as-installed configuration to Factory CCM who freezes it in Advitium -Be the interface periodically with the Factory CCM to check if configuration tested on site is the one supposed to be (as-
  • designed / as-installed comparisons). PROFILE : Candidate Requirements. Educational Requirements University degree (medium level as minimum) in engineering or 1 year experience in similar work.

    English language, high level reading and writing. Desired Knowledge / Experience. A minimum of 1 year experience in the area of systems for supervisory or control systems and system integration and configuration.

    Behavioural Skills / Competencies -Open mind for new concepts and technologies learning. -Ability to make decisions based on his knowledge.

  • Capability to establish good relationship with external people (customer or other units) -Reactivity and promptness -Be a team-
  • player -Adaptability and Available Technical Skills & Competencies -Good Knowledge of industrial communication standards and system integration procedures for supervisory systems.

  • Office, Outlook, etc) Job Location. Madrid. Sometimes travel will be required. Hours of Work. Full time work (40 hours per week), according with the standard of the managing location.
