We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior FPGA Engineer for the PathWave Test Sync Executive team. PathWave Test Sync Executive is one of the new technologies that Keysight is bringing to the market to drive Keysight SW-centric solution-oriented vision.

This technology is a core element of an important cross-organizational program chartered to develop superior synchronization, real-time capabilities and interoperability across Keysight products to enable businesses such as Quantum, high-complexity electronic warfare and ORAN, among others.

HVI is the underlying technology implemented by PathWave Test Sync Executive, this technology consists of an FPGA IP and a Core SW library that is integrated into Keysight products.

The FPGA IP is a core element to enable the unique capabilities provided by PathWave Test Sync Executive to end-customer and application developers.

The previous generation of the HVI technology is already in the market and has proven to be a highly differentiating factor in some fields

You will be part of a young and dynamic R&D team located in Barcelona (Spain) and work closely with R&D teams in the USA and other countries around the world.

We are looking for a talented and motivated experienced FPGA engineer to take a leading role on the FPGA development and system definition to create value for Keysight through technology innovations for a fast-growing modular instrumentation market

As a senior FPGA engineer you will :

  • work closely with the Product Owner to drive the product vision and realize it into a solid FPGA architecture.
  • work with architects and developers from several collaborating projects and products to align on architecture, implementation and define products interactions and integration.
  • develop new FPGA features to extend the existing product capabilities to cover the needs of the next generation products, key markets and applications.
  • Job Qualifications

  • BS / MS / PhD in Electrical Engineering or computer science with a strong focus on FPGA.
  • 10+ years of experience in FPGA development and 5+ years as FPGA architect.
  • Strong FPGA knowledge and experience with VHDL and Verilog.
  • Experience with Xilinx devices and tools.
  • Strong FPGA validation and simulation experience including Vivado ISim and QuestaSim.
  • Experience with continuous integration and version control.
  • Programming Knowledge : C++, C# and Python.
  • Experience with Test and measurement equipment and applications.
  • Digital circuit design and schematics.
  • Experience working with Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Soft Skills

  • Ability to multi-task and solve complex problems across different areas and interacting with multiple projects.
  • Objective oriented and self-motivated with strong communication skills and pronounced customer focus.
  • Ability to work on a fast-changing environment with challenging objectives.
  • Strong team player with good mentoring skills.
