We are looking for an accomplished Senior HR Specialist with track record of success building and driving HR programs. You will be an integral part of New Relic’s People Operations team and join us in building exceptional internal support and people initiatives.
The right candidate will have demonstrable experience in a broad range of HR subject areas policy review & development, compliance, benefits and employee communications.
The ideal candidate will also be someone who is self-motivated, flexible, has a can-do attitude and is excited about taking on new challenges.
Some of the things you’ll be responsible for :
Responsible for global benefits administration serve as a contact for all employee benefit questions, provide support for open enrollment, assist with the wellness program administration, resolve employee coverage inquiries, etc.
Assist in researching and implementing new programs.
Own HRIS processes - assist with the input, maintenance of employee information ensuring timeliness, completeness and accuracy of employee data.
Work with our outside leave of absence vendor. Ensure effective communication regarding leaves and time off to employees and managers.
Assist with employee status changes and provide outstanding service to employees and managers
Assist managers and employees in understanding and applying people tools, policies and procedures in order to maximize employee performance, achieve organizational effectiveness, improve employee engagement, and ensure legal compliance.
Research and implement necessary compliance changes on a global basis
Assist in developing processes, policies and procedures and the development / implementation of associated communication plans.
Work on special projects as required.
The right candidate likely has :
5+ years related experience hands on Human Resources or People Operations generalist position
Previous experience with high tech and / or high growth companies is preferred
Strong understanding and working knowledge of HR administrative policies, procedures, regulations
Strong communication skills; ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Strong project management and follow through skills; ability to organize and drive completion of multiple projects
Hands on experience with HRIS systems
Demonstrated experience working with confidential information
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
PHR or equivalent certification preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource management or related field preferred
