As an IIoT System and Network Administrator you will with your experience in IIoT platforms be accountable for managing our state-of-the-art platforms and you will work closely with internal stakeholders as well as our partners to identify and implement new technologies and best practices to keep our IIoT platforms reliable and updated.
Key accountabilities are : Overall responsibility for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of core IIoT solutions and analytics applications hosted in the Microsoft Azure cloud Work with IoT platform vendors, Weir solution architects and IT core services to implement solutions in Weir Azure cloud infrastructure Work with Weir Solution Architects, Software Engineers & Data Engineers to integrate multiple vendor solutions into a complete solution Work with IT Core Services team to integrate IoT Applications with Weir back-end system Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities : Act as key technical consultant for core IoT systems including XMPro, OSIsoft PI and other third-party vendors Prepare and maintain infrastructure diagrams Perform ongoing OS, Security & Application upgrades Develop customer facing self-service (Level 0) documentation Provide Level 3 support to Operations Team to help resolve technical issues Network Management : assist field service teams to configure VPNs and networks from cloud to customer sites Security Management : Assist Weir SOC to monitor, identify & resolve security threats and issues, monitor security log Application Management : Perform periodic access reviews and audits of applications, support software upgrades Server Management : Monitor any recent capacity issues, review server restart, monitor server system logs, monitor & review back up jobs, patch management Solution performance review, monitoring and monthly reporting Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications Minimum BSc / Ba in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science or related field Experience / Knowledge / Skills : 3+ years’ experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role 2+ years’ experience working with the Microsoft Azure cloud platform managing infrastructure Knowledge of networking software, hardware, and protocols Familiarity with Windows and Linux OS Professional certifications (e.
g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Azure Administrator) a plus Experience working with Industrial control systems and protocols a plus Experience in Industry 4.
0 technologies applied to intelligent factories / plants in the mining and metals sectors is a plus.
