We have a vacancy based in Sant Joan Despí :

Corporate Commercial Excellence Manager

Reporting to the Global COO of the Organization, he / she will be responsible to establish commercial excellence standards and organization to improve performance of SF, Measure performance and identify areas of improvement as a corporate role.

She / he will develop the functions as follows :

Insights & Analytics :

  • Define and own standards for commercial analytics and insights (KPIs, targets, data sources, frequency)
  • Conduct analysis and generate insights on most critical business items and launches from a corporate perspective
  • Measure promotion effectiveness of the omnichannel strategy i.e., linking input and impact across the full commercial funnel from marketing qualified to sales qualified lead
  • Measure tender performance (e.g., win rate, margin development, spill-over effect, SHI coverage)
  • Define and own standards for commercial analytics and insights (KPIs, targets, data sources, frequency)
  • Conduct analysis and generate insights on most critical business items and launches from a corporate perspective
  • Measure promotion effectiveness of the omnichannel strategy i.e., linking input and impact across the full commercial funnel from marketing qualified to sales qualified lead

  • Standard setting on SF activities data management, dashboards & BI systems :

  • Own and further develop and optimize data landscape, tools and systems
  • Assure quality of reporting and analytics in the countries
  • Develop guidelines for SF structure and sizing guidelines (especially for new launches)
  • Develop and maintain dashboards (e.g. tender KPI dashboard)
  • Develop BI Platform, implement and support roll-out (e.g., XPM)
  • Manage relationships & corporate accounts with key data vendors (e.g. IQVIA)
  • Own and further develop and optimize data landscape, tools and systems
  • Assure quality of reporting and analytics in the countries
  • Develop guidelines for SF structure and sizing guidelines (especially for new launches)
  • Develop and maintain dashboards (e.g. tender KPI dashboard)
  • Develop BI Platform, implement and support roll-out (e.g., XPM)
  • Manage relationships & corporate accounts with key data vendors (e.g. IQVIA)
  • Support of performance dialogue and sharing of best practices :

  • Support decision-making of top management and be sparring partner for COO by helping to steer commercial function and actively highlight improvement areas
  • Ensure close cross-functional and cross-country collaboration with local Commercial and Analytics leads, Finance, Supply Chain and Future Proof CoE
  • Share best practices across organization (e.g., tips on remote selling)
  • Reports to COO; be sparring partner for COO by actively highlighting improvement areas and discuss performance of most business critical items / products / launches
  • Interacts with local commercial & analytics leads, and other cross-functional leads (e.g. Finance, Country commercial team, Supply chain and Future proof team)
  • Support decision-making of top management and be sparring partner for COO by helping to steer commercial function and actively highlight improvement areas
  • Ensure close cross-functional and cross-country collaboration with local Commercial and Analytics leads, Finance, Supply Chain and Future Proof CoE
  • Share best practices across organization (e.g., tips on remote selling)
  • Reports to COO; be sparring partner for COO by actively highlighting improvement areas and discuss performance of most business critical items / products / launches
  • Interacts with local commercial & analytics leads, and other cross-functional leads (e.g. Finance, Country commercial team, Supply chain and Future proof team)
  • We require :

  • Bachelor's degree and Masters / MBA / PhD degree with specialization in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
  • 8 years of experience in commercial and / or analytics field with pharmaceutical commercial analytics experience.
  • Prior experience in reporting directly to C-level and leading a team of data analysts, will be a plus.
  • Senior profile critical thinking, consistent organized, result-oriented, efficiency, independent, and cooperative, leadership and ability for team work.
  • Highly analytical person and exceptional data structuring and analysis skills with the ability to build reporting that highlights key insights and trends even when only partial data sets may be available, with Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complicated concepts to all levels and verticals of the business are required.
  • Strong project management skillsthe ability to plan, organize and execute multiple projects efficiently, on time, and within budget
  • Proficient technology skills (e.g. MS Office software, MS Project, , etc.) Advanced level Excel skills and knowledge on data management, architecture and setup of data bases are required.
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
  • Fluent English / Spanish or English / German. Knowledge of German and Spanish will be valuable.
  • Availability to travel.
