Plan, direct, and monitor the activities of a Field sales team within a specified geography to secure achievement of established sales and / or distribution targets according to defined sales processes and sales / account plans.

May identify business opportunities.

What will you do

  • Leads, directs and develops a Field sales team in terms of its structure, people and performance to achieve maximum efficiency & effectiveness (including personal feedback & development).
  • Coach team members on sales techniques, procedures and standards that will help them achieve their sales and / or distribution targets.
  • Translate sales / account plans into field sales plans, activities, and campaigns and manage the day-to-day activities of a Field sales team (in order to implement the organization’s overall sales strategy) for an assigned geography, channel, and / or accounts.
  • Steer visit frequency and coverage and prepare visit statistics to measure the effectiveness of the Field Sales Force over a certain period of time.
  • Define and monitor a set of KPIs (with targets aligned with the internal stakeholders) to ensure the most optimal presence, space, extra visibility and promotional fulfilment for the visited accounts.
  • Give insights to the internal stakeholders in order to better manage the retailers’ assortment, space in store, promotional plan.
  • Negotiate listings and sales activities with existing and new customers on store level where possible
  • Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution plans for area of responsibility
  • Generate knowledge on market development / customer needs and competitor activities and distribute to internal stakeholders
  • Who you are

  • University Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years relevant business experience
  • Leadership & Coaching capabilities
  • Fluent in English
