Role PurposeSenior role of proactive Consultative Selling approach. The Technical Client Partner is key to the securing of Major Deals by using the ability to message effectively, using technical acumen and knowledge by positioning Colt aided by any relevant partners as the ideal provider of choice.

Leading the technical strategy across high-profile engagements, the role drives forward the opportunity by being able to understand the customer requirement on a business level, and translate this into a technical outcome, both externally to achieve customer goals, and internally to achieve successful delivery.

The ability to assist a customer to transform their network estate using next-generation principles and approaches is key.

SDN / SD Wan, Virtualised Edge, Cloud-First and Network Security should all be areas of significant technical comfort for discussion, with additional knowledge around : .

Voice & UC / Wireless & Mobility / Traditional Network methods (MPLS, Internet, Layers 1 and 2, Ethernet) / Cloud Connectivity and Architectures / Commercial Deal Structure The ideal candidate will have a career path which began in a technical (operations, engineering, delivery) role, and evolved into a sales role from here, therefore having a fully rounded and solid understanding of both the technology and commercial areas of IT and Telco.

Preferential accreditation / knowledge level : Cisco CCxP minimum and / or Specialist Technology Certificates (e.g. UC / Security).

ITiLv3. TOGAF. C-Level Engagement Strategy.Reporting to the Director of Strategic Sales the role will include developing strategy, tactics and sales plans, in conjunction with the existing European enterprise sales community, to target specific accounts and opportunities that will generate a minimum of €750k of annual revenue.

Key Accountabilities : Develop plans and strategies to meet and exceed the company’s revenue targetsMonitor competitor and market activity and provide feedbackLead complex global contract negotiationsWinning new business across all product lines (Data, Voice) for COLTDeliver a compelling Colt value proposition to target customers at C-suite levelBuild relationships with clients to influence the manner in which business outcomes are executedSupport contract construction and predict / overcome client concernsIdentify and report on business opportunities, within the relevant target markets, to the Senior and Executive Leadership teamsMotivate and lead teams by example throughout the sales process, coaching toward optimal outcomeMaintain an acute market awareness of customer buying trendsWork cooperatively with a wide range of internal stakeholders for deal successKet Performance InidcatorsAchieve new business targets.

Hit KPIs as agreed by Sales Director.Develop a complete knowledge of Colt key personnel, relevant operations and processes.

Establish an excellent working relationship with the sales community within the give territory.Be able to demonstrate a process orientated approach to strategic opportunity management.
