The Project Management Office for MED is a department that provides support to the Construction team, focuses on the standardization of the processes and achieves efficiency, and has a direct and positive impact in the results in the installation phase, as well as measuring the performance of the projects.

Responsibilites

  • Creating new Providers (PR) for all external services / materials for the project
  • Ensuring the PR will be created on time, auditing Project Management
  • Defines, ensures and decides the proper cost allocation according the PR Guideline
  • Communication with suppliers (main local point for suppliers)
  • Coordination with the Procurement Department : making sure that the Global Procurement gets 2 or more quotations for all suppliers
  • Be part of the decision of the supplier chosen and coordinate it with the PM.
  • Ensure that the Global Procurement is involved in the vendor needs regarding the projects, in order to evaluate and look for new vendors according to the Vestas requirements
  • Follow up with Finance SSC & GRs maintenance.
  • Active communication with PMs and PMO Coordination in order to support on LEs calculation
  • Create and Update information in SAP with close contact with Project Builder
  • Update the approval workflow, release status in Project Builder to applicable WBS
  • Creation of new specific Networks according to PR Guidelines
  • Vendor creations / extensions / changes
  • Any additional support to the PMs regarding suppliers
  • Qualifications

    Master or Bachelor in Science, Business Administration or any type of Engineering

  • Good communication skills, Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • A first experience in Wind or Renewable Energy would a good asset, as having worked in accounts receivable management
  • Work experience in a multinational environment
  • Competencies

  • Good organization and interpersonal skills as well as solid communication and negotiation capabilities
  • Ability to adapt to an ever-growing environment.
  • Capacity to prioritize multiple projects and adjust workload accordingly.
  • Problem solving capabilities.
