The Manager - SHES provides SHES (Safety, Health, Environment, and Security) knowledge, advice, compliance, systems and processes to assist and enable Europe & Middle East sub-region to meet the Orica SHES requirements and objectives.

SHES Leadership

  • Champion SHES values and behaviours at all levels of the sub-regional organisation.
  • Demonstrate SHES behavior and lead SHES by example.
  • Provide advice and support to line management for their SHES accountabilities to comply with SHES values and standards.
  • Drive improvements in SHES culture and line commitment to SHES.
  • Build the systems and processes to ensure compliance with legal requirements and Orica Group and EMEA Regional SHES
  • Visible SHES leadership.

  • Number of Safety Leadership Interactions.
  • Implemented best SHES practices and programs. Dimensions
  • Manage SHES at Orica sites in Europe & Middle East with the team of 2 direct reports (60%).
  • Provide local SHES Support at Orica sites in Spain and Portugal (30%).
  • Contribute to selected processes and initiatives at EMEA level (10%).
  • Act as Enablon champion to support the consistent use of Enablon by the line.

  • Education and Experience

  • Science, Engineering or similar Degree or higher qualification in SHES;
  • At least 3-5 years of SHES experiences in industry.
  • At least 3 years experience in managing teams.

  • Permanent contract;
