About the role
We are currently seeking a UI Frontend Engineer who will work along with designers and backend engineers on creating our software solutions.
This is just the start, hence you’ll be a key player on defining technology stack, processes, and build our work environment from scratch!
What you will do here
Work with Designers, Backend Engineers and Product Managers to implement design and product interfaces
Build UI interfaces for our web products
Participate in group design and code reviews with the rest of the front-end team members
Implement front-end best practices
Who we are looking for
Expertise on web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
Demonstrated UI design and UX sensibilities
Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
Javascript frameworks knowledge, React is a plus
Cross-browser compatibility issues knowledge, client-side performance
Demonstrated UI design and UX sensibilities
Ability to work with the Design team to understand detailed requirements
Team player, really motivated with technical challenges
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Time management skills
English speaking and writing skills
Is a plus
Experience designing for Fintech or Insurtech digital products
Experience with UX tools such as Sketch and InVision
React knowledge
Agile / Scrum experience
Jira expertise
