The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including : gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
The Gaming Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals He also organizes and monitors inventory levels to maximize efficiency.
Product Manager must demonstrate skills, such as contract negotiation and organizational planning. Main Responsibilities :
Define the product strategy and roadmap
Act as a leader within the company
Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitor's products.
Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses
Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume;
costing special and customized orders.
Monitor product inventory
Set the example by actively contributing to department and company goals
Take initiative and seek additional training or direction as needed.
Build quality into work. Ensure processes are consistent with quality objectives.
Develop and achieve departmental / company goals and controls. Make suggestions for improvement in areas of processes.* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
5+ years of experience in a job in the PC market.
Understanding of ERP system and Microsoft Office products especially Excel worksheet; strong computer skills.
Strategic thinking and planning
Attention to details, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines.
Using logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems.
