Key Responsibilities :
Maintain current customer base by understanding market valuedynamics, competitive environment and customer needs
Seek options to create and capture more value from the market,including developing new relationships with customers
Develop marketing / advertising / trade shows strategies thatcreate long term value for Europe
Negotiate short and long-term sales contracts
Work with global marketing teams, supply chain, and technical tooptimize transactions and translate market opportunities to profitable growth
Propose and negotiate contracts with key strategic customers,focusing on adding value while minimizing risk
Identify and manage new product developments and marketintroductions and link with global activities
Entrepreneurial, takes accountability for the region, in termsof cost, strong partnership with supply chain and logistics to ensure a qualityservice to customers
Analyze Markets and report Market trends
Financial analysis of sales contracts, projects and developmentof key measures for profitability
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science (Chemistry, Physics),Business Management or related field.
Previous experience working in the chemical industry
Technical aptitude to understand products and applications
Strong integrity, humility and ethical behaviour
Good economic thinking skills, sound judgement, and tradingmentality
Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills andthe ability to interface in a multi-cultural environment
Fluent in English
Ability to travel at least 50% (majority EU)
Proactively seeks knowledge and is very comfortable buildingrelationships at may levels in an organization internally or externally and canwork independently
Proven track record in sales, marketing or business developmentrole is desirable
