Key Responsibilities :

  • Maintain current customer base by understanding market valuedynamics, competitive environment and customer needs
  • Seek options to create and capture more value from the market,including developing new relationships with customers
  • Develop marketing / advertising / trade shows strategies thatcreate long term value for Europe
  • Negotiate short and long-term sales contracts
  • Work with global marketing teams, supply chain, and technical tooptimize transactions and translate market opportunities to profitable growth
  • Propose and negotiate contracts with key strategic customers,focusing on adding value while minimizing risk
  • Identify and manage new product developments and marketintroductions and link with global activities
  • Entrepreneurial, takes accountability for the region, in termsof cost, strong partnership with supply chain and logistics to ensure a qualityservice to customers
  • Analyze Markets and report Market trends
  • Financial analysis of sales contracts, projects and developmentof key measures for profitability
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science (Chemistry, Physics),Business Management or related field.
  • Previous experience working in the chemical industry
  • Technical aptitude to understand products and applications
  • Strong integrity, humility and ethical behaviour
  • Good economic thinking skills, sound judgement, and tradingmentality
  • Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills andthe ability to interface in a multi-cultural environment
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to travel at least 50% (majority EU)
  • Proactively seeks knowledge and is very comfortable buildingrelationships at may levels in an organization internally or externally and canwork independently
  • Proven track record in sales, marketing or business developmentrole is desirable
