National Legislation & Rules : Functional Analysis for R&D & Functional Support for Customer Service


  • Gathering, Analyzing, Interpreting and Issuing all Legislative news of National (ITA) scope, mainly on the Payroll area
  • Contacts with national Tax Agencies, Security Agencies, Employers' Associations, Workers' Associations
  • Internal Legislative support for R&D and Customer Service

  • Daily acquisition of legislative news
  • Compilation and Diffusion of periodic Updates (monthly agenda)
  • Compilation and Diffusion of Thematic Analyses (mainly about Union Agreements and National tax / Security rules)
  • Sync with R&D to grant reliability and completeness of all technical solutions

    Reports to Team Leader with no supervisory responsibility


    Knowledge required :

    A Statutory Research Analyst for Iberia

    Position based in Barcelona.

    Within the Legal Watch Team inside South EMEA, as a Statutory Research Analyst , you ensure the compliance of payrolls with tax and social regulations by bringing your expertise in Labor Law, Social Security Law and Tax Law.

    As a Statutory Research Analyst , you contribute to the compliance of the payrolls developed.

    As such, you must :

  • Proactively research and study the legal and / or conventional rules applicable in Labor law, Social Security Law and Tax Law in order to determine the correct definition of remuneration due to the employee;
  • the remuneration constituting the basis of contributions and the contributions due; taxable remuneration.

  • Distribute to ADP employees the legal changes likely to impact payroll engines through legal news training that you develop and animate.
  • Follow the templated collective bargaining agreements and communicate to the internal collaborators and customers the conventional evolutions, extended and / or not extended.
  • Missions :

    You respond also to the requests of internal employees in order to inform and ensure payroll compliance with legal and conventional regulations.

    You produce documentation and set up trainings to make Customer Service teams more autonomous.

    List of the main tasks performed :

  • Daily legal changes following for Spain and Portugal
  • Conventional Labor Agreement follow-up
  • Writing legal articles
  • Drawing up of legal documents (practical guide, thematic files...) for internal use
  • Drawing up of training materials and practical workshops
  • Statutory Research Analysts guarantee the legal compliance of payroll in coordination with the template team.

  • They inform the internal teams of developments impacting payroll : calculation of severance pay; conventional minimum wage;
  • conventional guarantees in case of sickness, accident at work, maternity; additional holidays...
