Ensure mid-term and long-term achievement of targets for turnover, profit and costs.Setup and develop local sales organization in line with development of business and costs.
Define, implement and adapt business processes in line with concerned function at BRITA Headquarter. Apply consulting methodology to develop water filtration in the coffee, vending and foodservice industries.

StrategyDefine the Sales Strategy (Route-to-Market / Channels, Organization etc.) and implement the approved strategy for the assigned area in agreement with Local and HQ management and ensure that the strategy is executed in the position’s own area of responsibility.
Execute strategic initiatives, communicate and align strategy with stakeholders.2. Business plan & BudgetDevelop and execute the medium-term business plan for the assigned region and the submarkets on the basis of a market potential assessment and in line with BRITA’s group strategy.
Develop and execute the short, medium and long-range budget plans for the position’s delegated decision area.3. Market analysis In cooperation with the Business Development Dept.
at Headquarters initiate and ensure a systematic market analysis in order to obtain the necessary data for market coverage in the short, medium and long term and use the findings in the position’s own area of responsibility.
4. SalesEnsure that the defined sales, volume and sales contribution targets are reached and introduce appropriate countermeasures in the event of variances.
Provide the BRITA Management with all relevant reports, according the needs of local and HQ Management.Understand customer strategies and develop business solutions through consultative approach.
Visiting customers will imply travelling at least 50% of the time.Develop new and existing distribution channels (Coffee, Vending, Foodservice).
5. Product Knowledge / customer needsProduct Knowledge around benefits / application of BRITA products on customer needs and competitive advantage.
Understand and apply pricing strategies by channel and customer. Observe market and customer relevant product / market offer and translate into product / innovation opportunities.
6. People managementManage, motivate and develop subordinates in accordance with BRITA culture.Ensure necessary Training and Development plans are in place for direct reports and their teams and that appropriate Performance Management processes are followed.
RequisitosSolid experience in sales including hunting new customersKnowledge of the Vending, coffee or food service industries essential Experienced in managing a sales and distribution unit.
Leadership experience with in-house and field sales staff.Degree level education is preferred.Knowledge about physical, chemical and biological wáter processes desirable.
