  • Remove barriers so that team(s) can drive results. Facilitating this success will require the ability to build strong relationships with both key senior level internal cross functional leaders as well customers
  • Proactive in partnering with stakeholders and act as a point of escalation when needed. A results driven culture and a collaborative, cohesive team will be critical to sustained customer satisfaction
  • Build and optimize the team determine the appropriate locations for resources and align and map the proper skill sets to those locations
  • Define success and optimize the customer lifecycle leveraging input from the customer and other VMware teams engaged with the customer.
  • Standardize our approach while still being flexible to individual customer needs

  • Measure and Report on the Effectiveness of the Customer Success team define operational metrics which must be achieved and hold each other accountable for exceeding these metrics
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully building and managing a team responsible for complex customer relationships in a technology service industry
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills, including with internal and external stakeholders at Sr. levels of management
  • Proven record of delivering business value to executive level customers
  • Desire and ability to partner with Sr. level internal team leaders in the best interest of the customer
  • Demonstrated ability to meet success metrics and sustain low customer and employee churn
  • Ambitious and driven, thriving in a demanding and fast-paced environment
  • A passion for success on behalf of the customer
  • 10+ years of customer success experience preferably in SaaS organization
  • 4-year degree required, advanced degree preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as needed
