Digital Sales Rep Responsibilities
Follow up on customers who signed up for smaller test environment (1-node campaign) and help them onboard and start consuming
Follow up and qualify new prospects from marketing-generated leads.
Prospect, qualify and develop new prospects to appointments
Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and obtain business requirements. Work closely with other Digitial Sales teams or in-
country sales teams to determine strategic approach
Disseminate opportunities to appropriate Sales Representative as necessary about the opportunity
Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
Build and develop initial customer relationships
Meet or exceed assigned bookings goals (consumption of the VMC on AWS service)
Manage and document lead cycle in VMware’s CRM system
Promote, develop and maintain knowledge of VMware other products and services, industry trends, and competition
Produce reports as necessary
A persistent, self-starter with a track record for success high level of energy and positive attitude
Multi linguist fluent in English is mandatory (spoken and written) plus another EMEA language fluently (e.g. German, French, Dutch, Swedish, Italian etc.
Spanish skills would be a personal benefit due to the location (Barcelona)
Credible follow-up and cold calling experience to multiple executive levels within an organization
Technology or similar industry experience preferred
Outbound, proactive cold-calling
Opportunity qualification and objection handling
Structure and control a call
Time and territory management
Accurate data entry and management of leads in a CRM system
A team player with the ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment
Excellent phone, listening, and writing skills in min 2 languages (English is mandatory)
Ability to multi-task and operate successfully in a rapidly changing environment
The highest level of integrity
Sales training, Salesforce.com experience would be a plus
College degree or equivalent work experience
Fluency in German would be a distinct advantage
