Position at Tokio Marine HCC
As a Cyber Security Specialist, based in our Barcelona office, you will form part of a dynamic team of professionals focused on providing first-class support to underwriters.
As part of the Underwriting and Product Management department (UPM), the Cyber team is responsible for the underwriting strategy for the Cyber line of business.
The team manages the development of Tokio Marine HCC’s Cyber portfolio and provides day-to-day technical and tactical underwriting guidance to underwriters of our geographical underwriting teams.
You will directly report to the Cyber Underwriting Manager.
Provide technical assistance to underwriters by performing Cyber risk assessment and vulnerabilities analysis (based on proposal form, underwriting call or meetings);
Deliver IT / Cyber security guidance to underwriters and help them developing better understanding;
Review technology-based accumulation of TM HCC Cyber portfolio (ensure diversified portfolio);
Monitor cyber-related trends and supervise Threat-intelligence;
Provide training to underwriters on cyber-related topics;
Attend external marketing and communication events :
Participate in special projects and perform related duties as assigned.
University degree in Computer Sciences, IT networking engineering and / or cyber passionate self-made-person; any IT / Cyber related certification (ITIL, Cyber resilience, CISSP, GSEC ) a plus;
High level of English a must. Additional languages a plus;
At least 5 years’ work experience in Cyber / IT security at corporate level or as an advisor / auditor (e.g. CTO, CISO, Information / Network Security, Computer Security, Security Architecture Design );
previous work experience in the insurance industry or in the cyber insurance industry a plus.
A deep understanding of how hackers work and ability to keep up with the fast pace of change in the criminal cyber-underworld.
