We are looking a Product Manager to join our team!

The Product Management Department defines and establish policies and procedures related to product life cycle, considers new feature request to evolve the products and analyzes the market and competitors by providing positioning arguments for the marketing and sales teams.

This department is in charge of managing the roadmap and evolution of the software products that Enghouse Interactive develops.

The goal is to build desirable software products that match the requirements demanded by the Contact Center market and Enghouse customers.

To achieve this goal we develop new versions and releases of our products collecting and evaluating all the feedback provided by partners and customers, other departments (Sales, Operations, PS, Support, Demand Generation ) and also trends on the Contact Center market.

The Product Manager is responsible of the roadmap and evolution of one product line and reports to a Product Director. This role requires having a good technical knowledge but keeping a perfect balance with skills aligned to business areas such as marketing and sales.

One of the key tasks from this role is to generate technical and marketing oriented content and be an excellent communicator that bridges between business areas and the R+D team.

Job Duties :

  • Products Managed : Presence Suite, Presence SmartCloud
  • Plan and design new product releases by defining new features functional scope to hand over for implementation following an Agile methodology.
  • Define and evolve license and pricing structures to support usage and subscription as well as perpetual models.
  • Keep up to date knowledge of Enghouse portfolio. Identify possible integration with other Enghouse products or common components to complement the managed product and achieve sales multipliers
  • Keep up to date system design documentation, best practices and guidelines focused on minimizing errors at design time for new proposals and meet client requirements.
  • Direct support in complex sales

  • Improve and streamline the whole product lifecycle process by establishing formal but agile processes for various tasks including uncovering, researching and documenting market requirements, gathering, sorting and analyzing client new feature request, generate feature requirements documents, planning releases, creating a solid Product Roadmap and getting involved in all the tasks around the launch of new product versions and releases.
  • In charge of the process that must be followed by internal teams, partners and client to submit new feature requests, including in-depth discovery sessions, rationale, prioritization assessing competitive advantage and risks of inclusion
  • Research and generation of competitive advantage materials to help the sales team to better position our product, acquiring, analyzing and deriving competitive intelligence from multiple sources
  • Help sales team in winning deals and beat competition in many competitive situations by providing value and positioning messages in favor of our product against competing solutions.
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of premise and cloud based contact center competitors.

  • Generating technical marketing documentation and material to be used in Demand Generation campaigns, Sales activities, etc..
  • Working with industry analysts such as Gartner and Frost&Sullivan with regular vendor briefings and survey responses to make them aware about our product and key differentiators so to be included in their market reports, research papers, etc.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications;
  • establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

  • Generate documentation for grants and represent the company with grants inspectors
  • Reduction to near zero solution design errors in sales opportunities with the empowerment and regular training of internal Presales teams.
  • Manage the relationship with Technical Partners used by the managed product
  • Implement new Global PM processes on the product line managed
  • Education :

  • BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering
  • Related Work Experience :

  • Product Owner, Product Management - 5 Years or more
  • Enterprise PBX, Unified Communications, Cloud and Contact Center solutions - 5 Years or more
  • Languages :

  • English : fluent / native
  • Spanish : fluent / native
  • The candidate must be able to write concisely and fluently using a rich vocabulary in both languages. The position requires also having public speaking skills on both languages

    Other Skills :

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience and knowledge on networks, system infrastructure, operating systems, and virtualization.
  • Experience and knowledge on software development, concepts and technologies
  • Proficient on Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other edition tools (including some graphical tools)
  • Technical savvy appreciate of the technology and a natural affinity in learning about innovation or tech.
  • Manage a large professional industry related network (partners, technical providers, competitors, clients, prospects, etc.)
