What are we looking for and what do we offer?

Our new full-time open-minded and multi-faceted technical perfumer to be based in Barcelona. The role will focus on European customers for all product categories.

The Role

Rework fragrances for price, safety, regulatory or technical reasons.

Adapt fragrances to various applications.

Participate and provide recommendation to keep the ingredient palette up-to-date and connected to the market.

Understand the preferences and olfactive signatures of our own customers.

Qualify fragrance modifications with method.

Collaborate actively with the rest of the Scentmate team.

Pragmatic and organized with a creative and problem solving mindset.

Delivering against tight deadlines whilst keeping a cold head when dealing with pressure.

Training and experience

Minimum 3-5 years cumulated experience as GC analyst & perfumer or perfumer

A previous experience in GC analysis is a plus.

Perfumery education : fragrance house school, ISIPCA, ESP, Montpellier

Fluent in English (high proficiency). French or Spanish is a big plus.
