Functional area : Health, Safety & Environment
Your tasks
Manage, coordinate, advise and support the provision of health, safety and environmental-related assistance for our business at development, construction and operation stage including interfacing with authorities.
Proactively support and advise staff as well as management in meeting their HSE responsibility and the development and promotion of an excellent HSE culture.
Support effective implementation and continuous improvement of the Spanish HSE Management System.
Ensure legal HSE requirements are identified and considered, and achieving compliance is supported and evaluated on a regular basis.
Conduct Root Cause Analyses in a self-reliant manner incl. consultation / cooperation with the respective authorities / entities in charge.
Provide safety related trainings and courses based on focus analyses in order to qualify and skill relevant staff in terms of health, safety or environmental topics.
Conduct and improve HSE walks, inspections and audits pursuant to Spanish HSE legislation as well as RWE HSE governance requirements to check and ensure conformity with the law / RWE requirements.
Conduct and support risk and hazard assessments and derive actions.
Your profile
Successfully completed a technical bachelor degree (engineer, technician) or comparable qualifications
In possession of a valid qualification in occupational Health and Safety according the Spanish legislation (Técnico Superior de Prevención de riesgos laborales)
An additional certification in environmental is added advantage.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Safety preferably in the area of energy
Good working knowledge of Spanish Health & Safety and Environmental legislation Experience in implementing an HSE Management System, preferably aligned with ISO , or similar
Analytical and conceptional skills
Very good command of written and spoken Spanish and English, additional languages of advantage
High degree of self-directed initiative and personal responsibilityand decision-making competence
Pronounced team spirit and good communication and presentation skills
B1 driving licence
