Primary responsibility will be to support the Spanish sites (Madrid and Granada) in all compliance and regulatory matters such as health & safety, data protection and quality system.

He or she will have an important supporting role as well in all areas affecting the sites (car fleet, insurance, strategic supplies) and its leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership and full responsibility on all compliance documentation on health and safety
  • Contact point between the company and the company s external H&S service prevention provider (Quiron).
  • Act as a key member of the H&S monthly committee and work accordingly with the rest of the stakeholders in that committee.
  • Take actions to improve the wellbeing on the workplace. Organize initiatives in collaboration with HR and site management.
  • Review and update all relevant internal and external documentation and procedures relative to data protection.
  • Support the site leader on all actions, developments and improvements about the company s quality system.
  • Take care and follow up, under site leader guidance, of the most relevant and strategic office supplies and contracts.
  • Company car fleet management.
  • Administer access-control of the Madrid office.
  • Education and experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Certificated as an official H&S instructor (Certificado en Tecnico Superior de Prevencion de Riesgo)
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge on quality system and / or data protection highly desirable
  • Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Experience of laboratory environments an advantage but not a prerequisite

  • Self-organized, capable to work in autonomy and as part of a team according to the situation.
  • Travel availability - Granada
