KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER MARINE PAINTS - IBERIA AREA
This position will be the frontlineperson responsible for maintaining assigned exiting customers and acquiring newbusiness in Iberian Marine Paints market.
Key Responsibilities :
This individual will be a team player and be responsible toensure achievement and execution of business targets in terms of volume, valueand profitability for the assigned direct customers.
Develop long term relationships with major accounts(including yards and owner companies). In this sense, indirect customersinvolved in specifications will be important part of the Mission.
Develops and communicates strategic sales plans to growmarket share and sales
Rational customer approach through frequent visits, quickresponse to queries, up to date marketing data and information. .
Provide technical specifications and commercial quotationsupon customer requirements.
To carry out technical sales support such test applications,assessments onsite and FTS jobs.
Monitor competitor activity
Actively focus in introduction and launching of new productsto the market.
Liaise with customer service on order and pricing issues andwith logistic teams on product forecasting to ensure a high service level tothe customers.
Manage working Capital for the territory through active managementof account receivables.
Reportresults & attend regular meetings to discuss business activity. .
To present a professional image to customers and colleagues at alltimes.
To ensure that all administrative tasks, including reporting andrecording, are completed and submitted within timescales and to requiredstandard.
Toensure that all Company procedures and policies are adhered to.
Adopt and practice PPG’sCode of Ethics
To fully understand and operate the PPG pricing system in line with PPGpricing policy.
To understand and adopt PPG requirement in line with PPG exportcompliance policy.
More than 5 year Sales experience in the Marine Paints Industry(experience in Protective Coatings is a plus).
Certificates FROSIO, NACE or Experience as Technical Support is a plus
Language : Spanish, English. Portuguese is a plus
Ability to travel and work a flexible work schedule
Communication and Interpersonal skills : presentations, one to onenegotiation, effectively communication at customer and internally level.
