You’ll be selling HPE products, services, software, or solutions to customers, both directly and indirectly. Working at HPE, you’ll have the resources to develop your talent and creativity.

In a typical day as a Presales Consultant , you would

  • Identify the customer technical needs, site-specific, corporate parameters, constraints and required IT Infrastructure project steps.
  • Identify information on competitors and product roll-out data / training needs
  • Understand the architecture of appropriate technical solutions
  • Investigate, adopt and optimize the solution design to requirements
  • Communicate with the customer executive management and business executives globally, building customer loyalty
  • Represent HPE as technical expert with customers and advancing opportunities through the use of effective consultative selling techniques
  • Deliver customer workshops for further understanding of issues and buy-in to HPE's proposals
  • Play leadership roles in peer education programs
  • Understand the roles and effectively direct other teams and resources within HPE and partners globally
  • Facilitate smooth transition from sales to implementation by orienting the appropriate teams to the technical solution design.
  • Fluent in French

    Holding a University or Bachelor's degree in engineering or from technical university.

    Typically 3-5 years’ of experience in technology industry with focus on technical consulting and solution selling.

    Able to understand technical innovations and trends, customer value chains and business requirements

    Demonstrate deep technical skills in assigned area of specialization.

    Demonstrates excellent consultative selling techniques, including active listening, framing, white boarding, storytelling etc.

    Understanding the competition and thereby positioning strategy and technology

    Solid project management skills or experience, with excellent analytical and problem solving skills, including appropriate due diligence.

    Strong business and financial acumen, with an understanding of functional responsibilities of various customer business roles

    Excellent in communication, presentation and negotiation, especially with C-level clients
