Currently we are looking for a Junior Corporate Communications Specialist to join our team based in Cornellà (Barcelona).
Working hours : 3 days per week
Term : 6 months initial term
The role will support the corporate communications team with its processes and functions, specifically responding to media enquiries, sourcing and developing multi-channel content and managing stakeholder requests, as well as helping with PR activity as advised by the Communications Lead for Southern Europe and the Northern Continent sub-regions.
Specific activities include to :
Support the development and execution of creative public relations plans that fit company profile and business objectives
Organise and coordinate PR activities
Developing press releases, case studies, feature articles, creative copy for brochures and other collateral
Regularly producing copy for websites and social media channels
Media outreach program including write / edit press documents and social media content calendars as well as produce original multi-channel content
Management of building media lists and press releases on behalf of clients
Liaise with marketing professionals to ensure consistency in promoting corporate image
Developing relationships with editors / journalists to secure opportunities for clients
To be considered for this inhouse PR position you will have :
At least 12 months PR experience gained from an inhouse or agency environment
Experience in copywriting and editing
Excellent oral and written communication skills
The ability to take your own initiative and be proactive but be a great team player at the same time
Fluency in Spanish and English. Other languages are desirable but not essential
An understanding of media tools such as Meltwater would be useful but not essential
A degree in PR, communications, journalism or relevant field
