LoveToKnow is looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead our word app & game initiatives as well as contribute to the company-wide mobile-first strategy across all LoveToKnow media portfolio companies.
Your portfolio should speak for itself. We’re looking for a strong background in mobile app and web experiences design. You should have an infectious curiosity and the desire to understand our users’ needs to ensure an engaging experience.
We are a distributed team so you should be highly organized, a strong communicator, and be able to give and receive critical feedback asynchronously.
This role is highly collaborative and will put you in the heart of the product team working closely with fellow designers and researchers as well as engineering, editorial, revenue, data insights as well as directly with the leadership team.

You will be responsible for the end to end design processes including evaluating and prioritizing solutions for needs learned from user research., support tickets and bugs
Improve the overall design and launch quality by developing style guides, quality standards, improved processes,
Communicating user stories and needs through early-stage storyboards, sketches, wireframes, high fidelity mocks, and prototypes
Define, design, and deploy A / B testing concepts
Complete competitive analysis, evaluation of new market opportunities, and be a player of word games!
Facilitate global (cross timezone) brainstorming and collaborative design sessions
Make strategic design decisions as well as leading day to day operations
You will be leading the evolution of the WordFinder App brand as well as facilitate brand identity and style system for new apps and games.
Metrics for success
Increase user engagement and time in-app.
Work with our QA team to define testing standards to improve output quality and reduction in post-launch issues
Create a shared UI component library alongside our front end team and have it used by other products
Fluent English communication skills - written and oral.
6+ or more years of experience and a proven track record in delivering high quality and engaging solutions.
Hands-on experience creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
Proven ability to run user tests, customer interviews, and surveys.
Solid understanding of leading qualitative & quantitative research methods and a passion for connecting with users on a regular basis at all stages of the design process.
Strong presentation skills and comfortable working in Google Slides & Docs
Portfolio to be presented and discussed during the interview.
Experience using tools such as Sketch, Abstract, Adobe Creative Cloud, Miro
Creative ideas with a problem-solving mindset.
Experience working in an agile / scrum development process.
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to the team.
Be open to receiving, and giving, positive feedback and constructive criticism
Ability to stay focused on simple and elegant solutions for complex problems.
Proven ability to define reusable patterns and principles that scale
Clear communication skills to succinctly articulate your concepts and how they solve for user needs
