The Learning Designer will translate our sales employee training and development needs into engaging educational programmes.
Curriculum responsibilities include selecting appropriate instructional methods, defining time frames and preparing training materials in physical and digital formats.
The Learning Designer will also design and develop learning and practicing experiences. The goal is to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and appealing manner.
The Learning Designer will work closely with the Sales Training Manager to establish the overarching Learning and Development strategy and ensuring that there are training offerings for all members of the EU commercial organisation, at all levels of experience including new hires, seasoned sales professionals and managerial and higher level roles.
The Learning Designer will ensure that the training curriculum is high quality and consistent, impactful, rigorous, experiential and continuously evolving.
This includes language and culture differences and delivery methods.Your responsibilities : * Work with the Sales Training Manager, to define a sales training strategy that integrates with the divisional goal tree (PMD goals) and 4I values by offering an individualised approach to learning* Design, develop and deliver programmes that address the training needs of the commercial team.
Set learning objectives and obtain feedback for each course* Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts* Evaluate existing courses and content.
Make recommendations and implement changes for improvement in order to maximise the value of the programme to the selling organisation.
Utilise existing performance tracking mechanisms and feedback such as the EIS and rep, manager and leadership feedback to determine the critical training needs of the organisation and design, develop and implement appropriate training programmes* Create engaging training course content that enhances the learning experience (gamification, videos, quizzes and activities) and determine evaluation criteria* Develop an accessible library of programmes and content for quick reference by the sales organisation.
Collaborate with cross functional, divisional and geographical training specialists to share best practice and associated content.
Deliver collaborative programmes where required* Applying tested instructional design theories, practice and methodsMinimum Requirements / Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Communications, Human Resources, or Training and Development.* 5+ years of working experience in instructional design, curriculum design or similar role with instructional technology and authoring programmes
Prior experience in adult learning and sales training course design and delivery preferred.* Experience creating and managing the production workflow of interactive eLearning modules with at least one Learning Management System* Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models* Familiarity with video editing software* Basic HTML5 and SCORM output programming knowledge (Flash is a bonus)* Ability to write clear instructional copy* Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard* Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts / video scripts* Ability to manage self and resources including time and surrounding circumstances to deliver both short term and long-term goals.
