In this role you will be responsible for the expansion of the retail & wholesale channel, finding potential new locations and partners, managing existing partners and ensuring their satisfaction.

You will be overall responsible to improve Pandora's market position within both channels, building key relationships, identifying business opportunities, maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions and negotiating / closing business deals.

The Business Development Manager will be reporting into the Head of Sales and the role is based in Madrid, Spain., NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • With overall view and knowledge of the independent jewelry field, identify the ideal configuration of the retail & wholesale channel
  • Identify the proper partners for each location / city and explore new opportunities and strategies in order to develop the business
  • Map prospective partners, evaluate their business potential and supervise the negotiation and the contract finalization
  • Build, promote and cultivate strong, effective and long-lasting business relationships by partnering with customers across the channels, understanding and responding to their needs
  • Promote the qualitative development of both channels, reviewing the model of the business, working on the increase of branded point of Sales
  • Promote an integrated development of the business CLIENT RETENTION
  • Analyze partners' performance and guarantee the proper implementation and maintenance of the HQ & EMEA guidelines
  • Grow and enhance existing accounts by presenting new solutions, products and services to clients.
  • Work with all the Departments to meet customers' needs BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PLANNING AND RESEARCH
  • Analyze and evaluate the market, the channels and competitors, identifying the room of action in terms of selling proposition and differentiation
  • Present the results and provide information to the top management on market and innovative trends
  • Develop the pipeline of new business through a strategic planning activity, You will be part of a fast growing company in an exciting business.

  • Strong retail background and knowledge
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Proven financial and business acumen and strong analytical capability, keeping up to date with competitor information and market trends, identifying business opportunities for PANDORA, at all times demonstrating financial awareness, controlling costs and added value
  • Detail oriented without losing the big picture
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent ability to communicate, in order to gain clear commitment with strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Customer focus, setting high standards for quality
  • Leadership in order to deliver a clear direction, setting correct standards of behavior, delegating work appropriately and fairly, providing development opportunities and coaching when and where required
  • Works in a strategic manner to realize organizational goals, setting and developing strategies, and developing a vision for PANDORA's future potential

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, ability to deal with situations where multitasking is frequently required
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment, meeting work deadlines effectively

  • Strong experience in a business development role, in an international retail / fast fashion / life-style / beauty organization
