Role Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for highly motivated individual to create the delivery and improvement of services provided working with other functions to focus on performance improvements across the company, the Head of Shared Service will play a pivotal role in facilitating the business case for Otis in building an effective, sustainable and scalable delivery model.

Key Responsibilities

Identify areas where work can transition into Shared Services, analyze the current process(es), design and / or contribute to the future process by collaborating with key partners and develop a plan for execution

Manage the migration of activities, put governance, process and standardization in place, embedded end-to-end processes and process ownership

Influence and manage key stakeholder across the board from Global Shared Services to local countries, Functional Heads and Process Owners to external partners

Lead the transition of activity, balancing pace of transition with management of risk and change

Build capability, upskill and enhance capabilities and performance across migration to shared services

Own the business case for consolidating, upgrading or implementing major new systems in support of shared services operations

Define key performance indicators develop metrics and SLA for core programs and transactions, track delivery against program objectives, lead improvement initiatives and encourage a culture of efficiency, innovation and customer service

Being the focal point for the shared services function, where the number of direct reports will increase in line with the growth of the use of shared services

Your experience includes :

Proven performance in :

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree or equivalent;
  • Proven track record in building Shared service centers in different industries;
  • Proven experience in business processes optimization in a complex environment;
  • Strong international experience;
  • Leading and developing high performing teams, excellent leadership skills;
  • Robust capability in collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, particularly senior leadership;
  • Adept at performing well in a complex & results focused international environment;
  • Structured communication & highly developed influencing skills;
