Within our department of expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) , we build, develop and host several SI for the distribution of geographic data , including the brand new Geoplatform of our client IGN .

Within the framework of an ambitious program of reorganization of the services, we are reinforcing our staff and are looking for a Project Manager / Lead Developer in order to realize with us these new online services.

This is an exciting field, in full mutation where projects and activities are very varied. These projects involve multi-skilled business and technical teams (architecture, development, GIS expertise).

As a Project Manager and Lead developer you will be in charge of the technical and development activities of your team but also the management of the projects that will be entrusted to you.

You will be the single point of entry for the project management located in France. You will receive from them all the functional and technical documentation in French, you will ensure the technical and project management of all the developments that are entrusted to you.

All documentary, email and telephone exchanges will be in French. The mastery of French and Spanish is essential (your team is a Spanish team).

Your main missions are :

Contribute actively to the detailed specification phases to produce quality functional and technical deliverables;

Contribute to the development of the software architecture principles of the program;

Ensure the implementation of these principles within your team;

Guarantee the quality of the developments carried out;

Manage all deliverables and actions of the team in order to meet deadlines and respect the expected quality level

Be the single point of entry for the project management located in France - All exchanges with the French team are done in French

Depending on the project phases, contribute to the most complex developments.

You will be involved in all phases of the project : analysis, design, development, testing, support, optimization, deployment.

in an iterative and agile project context.

These missions require great autonomy and technical curiosity.

Working on these projects means :

technologies : Java, Spring, SpringBatch, NodeJS, Python, Perl, PostgreSQL / PostGIS, Helm / Kubernetes, cloud concepts, Docker from dev to production ;

the world of cartography, very visual and geometry applied to the real world;

but not only, web development above all;

an Agile methodology adapted to the customer and to the Dev and Ops operation;

a quality approach and continuous integration in place on all projects (gitlab-ci, sonar, docker-builder, ...) ;

an available and pleasant customer ;

a team atmosphere ;

But also the acquisition of skills on open source solutions and GIS standards :

APIs specific to the world of cartography ;

GIS standards (WMTS, WMS, WFS, WPS, WCS, KML, ...) ;

opensource solutions : GeoServer, OpenLayers, QGIS, Rok4 , ... ;

GIS database modeling ( PostGreSQL / PostGIS ).

You have an engineering or university degree and are interested in technical and software architecture, as well as development.

Your pioneering nature leads you to innovation, analysis and resolution of complex technological problems. You are keen on quality developments.

You already have significant experience in project management, design and development of web applications or middleware in Java, as well as in DevOps mechanisms of continuous integration and continuous deployment.

You master several frameworks and will be able to contribute in terms of relevant technical choices.

A successful experience on projects of similar stakes and a good command of Java are essential.

High level of French is key.

You will be in frequent contact with other teams on the same site or on other Worldline sites, good interpersonal skills (written / oral) are expected.
