Description :

Tokio Marine Europe SA (TME) was created in 2018 to ensure that the Tokio Marine Group is able to continue servicing its clients in the European Economic Area in the event of any Brexit.

TME has branches in ten European countries and its mission is to become an integrated and scalable insurance platform. In order to achieve that over the next years, TME will embark on many significant projects such as continuously improving local branches’ business processes, enhancing Target Operating Model and matrix functioning and fully integrating all TME branches into one architecture.

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who is keen to support the TME Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure all projects are successfully delivered using best-practice’ Project Management (PM) methodology.

Your role is key to support the company’s objectives and standards. This role will report directly into the Project Management Coordinator of TME.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide support to streamline and engineer the existing business process.
  • Design and produce business process maps.
  • Gather business requirements using interviews, document analysis, task, and workflow analysis.
  • Ensure that business requirements are effectively transformed into detailed functional and technical specs from which appropriate business systems can be implemented or existing systems enhanced.
  • Participate in company projects by providing information about the System’s point of view.
  • Have a good understanding of the ERS cube and be able to generate reports.
  • Demonstrate up-to-date expertise with the current Policy Administration System (PAS), specifically SBS Eclipse and Genius by being a point of reference for any system queries from different departments (Underwriting / Finance / Compliance / Operations).
  • Identify opportunities to improve the systems.
  • Attend meetings with the project team regularly to review project deliverables and deadlines.
  • Use formal written communication methods to communicate informational updates and system improvements to different stakeholders (e.
  • g. emails, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations).

    Requirements :

  • University degree and / or postgraduate studies.
  • At least three years’ relevant working experience, preferably in the finance industry (insurance, reinsurance, bank), in an international environment.
  • Recognised qualification of PM and associated methodologies, techniques, processes and approaches.
  • Good knowledge of PM tools and / or software.
  • Proficiency in standard software applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Excellent written and spoken English essential, any other language is an asset.
  • Excellent written communication skills; advanced verbal communication skills.
  • Profile :

  • Able to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills for projects.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, taking ownership of his / her responsibilities.
  • Comfortable with coordinating and collaborating with business teams and executives. Experience of being a Business Partner and managing those relationships.
