Strategic Suppliers Manager
Position purpose :
Strategic Suppliers and Software Asset Management will focus on strategic vendors to maximize value creation and minimize enterprise risk.
The main responsibilities will be :
To orchestrate the supplier relationship to ensure that what is promised is delivered, on time, on budget; and track, monitor and mitigate vendor risk.
To be responsible of the Digital and Information Technology Strategic Suppliers model, actively participating in the contract management and supporting Global Procurement in the negotiations.
This includes to minimize risks and maximize the value of the Strategic Suppliers through proper governance framework in order to sustain JTG values.
What will you do responsibilities :
Intensively participate in the completion of the overall framework around strategic suppliers for Digital and Information Technology
Participate in the selection process of the strategic supplier classification scope (segmentation), use principles, guidelines and exception procedure
In collaboration with Strategic Suppliers and Software Asset Management colleagues, be responsible to define the suppliers governance model, finalizing and rolling out the processes for Contract Deliverable Extractions, KPI's and SLA's definition, Customer / Supplier surveys definition
Provide with a cockpit where Technology Leadership team will evaluate, assess and be able to make the decisions to continue working with the strategic supplier or removed them out of the pool of strategic suppliers
Work closely with D&IT service owners and Strategic Supplier to ensure proper visibility of our current and future initiatives, opportunities and improvement areas
Drive cost optimization by negotiating when contract renewals will take place
Act as single point of contact for audit and scalation processes. Monitor Supplier Service Contracts and Manage Supplier Performance review (QBR) ensuring that the set of services from a supplier meets an organization's goals in an effective and efficient manner.
Tracking and monitoring contract data (terms and desirables)
Proactively improve contract terms and desirables and identify opportunities to improve future contracts
To be accountable for high value / high importance global D&IT contracts to ensure that they preserve JTI’s interest while being in conformance with laws and regulations
Responsible to ensure that contracts with third parties are delivering the expected value for money, service quality, and flexibility requirements, as well as protecting JTI's interests and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as regulations
Work in close cooperation with IT service owners to formalize requirements and is driving contract negotiations
Collect IT Spend report by vendor and category from SAP BW centralized system and analyze trends to ensure Strategy adherence and alignment with the predefined roadmap
Provide break-down analysis by IT function with IT Spend details to support a successful and smooth transition into Strategic Partners
Continuous collaboration with the Finance department to support master data clean-up and accurate reporting on Strategic Partners Spend.
Review and update IT company-wise Project roadmaps focus on strategic Partners. Define and report Vendor Management KPI
Who are we looking for requirements :
Business administration, computer science or IT related degree (Bachelor or Masters level)
7 to 10 years of experience managing outsourcing IT suppliers
5 years of experience on Vendor Management in IT function or Procurement IT
Full English proficiency
Excellent Microsoft O365 knowledge. Proficiency on Excel
Proficiency in Vendor and Relationship Management
Experience on Analytical tools
Desired knowledge of IT software / SAAS / PAAS category and market key players.
Strong experience with major software publisher's licensing schemes (SAP, Oracle, MS, etc.)
Very Good Understanding principles of Procurement processes, Supplier Relationship Management and Vendor Management
IT operational and service management background
The leadership of large-scale contract negotiations, involving setup, analysis of positions, development of Best Alternative to a Negotiated Agreement (BATNA)
Commercial experience in drafting robust contracts covering pricing, SLA, penalty regime, clearly defined deliverables, transition and exit statements
Knowledge and compliance requirements related to GDPR and data protection laws
Ability to communicate and interact with different layers of organization
Practice efficient time management and coordinates tasks, working in an international environment
Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
