Job summary

In this Senior Sourcing Recruiter role, you will be a key leader in building an EMEA-wide sourcing function from scratch to support Confidential Projects, the expansion of our Consumer Business across EMEA, and of our Corporate functions.

In this role, you will :

  • Lead the effort to build and execute sourcing strategies to find, engage and attract talent for new EMEA markets, confidential projects, and corporate functions (non-technical roles).
  • Mentor a team of passionate sourcing recruiters; establish team best practices and foster a collaborative sourcing culture.
  • Collaborate directly with senior hiring leaders, recruiters, and other internal stakeholders in order to deliver.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple searches against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks, metrics, and understand how to prioritize to hit all customer SLAs.
  • Conduct market research and candidate generation in a high quality & high volume environment.
  • Use data to build talent insights and recommend hiring strategies.
  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through on-going relationship management.
  • Conduct exploratory interviews of potential candidates.
  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine tuning standard processes for recruiting that fits within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.
  • Preferred role locations include Madrid, London, Luxemburg, Milan, or Munich


  • Extensive relevant experience in sourcing and / or recruiting including passive candidate generation for niche and / or leadership roles
  • Experience recruiting in a global environment including experience recruiting in multiple EMEA markets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Familiarity with the Middle East and / or Africa regions.
  • Advanced Boolean skills.
  • Experience and interest in recruiting for a variety of non-technical business roles and corporate functions.
  • Energized by working on ambiguous and ambitious talent acquisition projects.
  • Ability to prioritize; ruthless curiosity; appreciation for the value of providing amazing customer service.
  • Ability to understand and articulate business needs while executing talent acquisition strategies
  • Ability to manage relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders & talent.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR partners.
