MuleSoft is looking for a Senior Integration Developer to join our expanding Training and Certification team. This role will lead and develop integration projects within Training, integrating Training systems and data with external platforms and cross-functional systems as well as integrate our content with customer and / or partner Learning Management platforms.
In this role, you will be an influencer and thought-leader with in-depth technical expertise and you will own the entire lifecycle of the integration projects including governance, documentation and best practices within Training.
You will be part of the Global Training Data Strategy Team and will have the opportunity to share your knowledge with Certified MuleSoft Technical Instructors and participate in projects with our Portfolio team.
What you’ll achieve :
3 months :
Participate in MuleSoft Technical Product training, methodology and practice integration knowledge gained from training
Begin to execute MuleSoft integrations and start on your journey to internalize business outcomes and business context relevance to MuleSoft implementation methodologies and approaches
Complete MuleSoft technical certifications and fully ramp on technology and implementation methodologies; start to develop and contribute subject matter expertise and integration deliverables to internal knowledge exchange
Help to build out integration expertise within Training and Certification team
Document projects, best practices,
12 months :
Continue to lead integration hands-on initiatives within Training and Certification
Internalise frameworks, project deliverables, best practices / policies and implementations to internal collaboration networks and IP sharing
Improve and scale integration implementations with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. customer or cross-collaboration with MuleSoft partners, SIs, and 3rd Parties)
Highlight and manage ongoing risks and pain points throughout implementations and contribute to developing and implementing internal mitigation measures to meet implementation needs
Identify opportunities and efficiencies during technical implementations and support implementation of the SLDC pipeline to get greater value out of the MuleSoft platform.
Lead development and design activities and publish / facilitate reusable content to the field
Design and Implement APIs to expose Training & Certification Data
Management, advice and guidance to project stakeholders.
Identify, analyse, design, implement and deploy interfaces and integration projects.
Coordinate integration projects across different teams and stakeholders.
Provide support for existing and new APIs and applications.
Promote the use of Training Data (APIs, Exchange, Applications, etc.)
Become the SME and anticipate future needs
Owner of all stages of the project
Develop best practices
What you’ll need to be successful :
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Experience gathering and analyzing requirements
Demonstrated experiences implementing or architecting integrations with at least two of the following :
MuleSoft or other solutions (e.g., IBM, BEA, Oracle Fusion, TIBCO, Dell Boomi, Progress Sonic, etc.)
API Management solutions (Apigee, Mashery, etc)
One or more on-premise / SaaS packaged COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf) solutions for ERP, CRM, e-Commerce, or mobile (e.
g. Salesforce.com, NetSuite, Oracle, Siebel, SAP, WorkDay, etc.)
Demonstrated experience managing and architecting for multiple technical integration project SDLCs (Software Development Life Cycle) end-to-end, sometimes simultaneously
Working knowledge of on-premise / cloud-based infrastructures, SDLC pipelines, and deployments / configurations and definition of best practices / standards
Demonstrated ability to effectively design and implement solutions within a diverse technical team of client, SIs, contractors, and internal teams
Demonstrated experience with High-Availability, Fault-Tolerance, Performance Testing and Tuning parameters on multiple engagements
Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade technical solutions meeting complex requirements while implementing integration methodologies and supporting business case justification
Experience driving technical workshops with technical clients or partners to derive value-added implementations
DevOps, CI / CD, Agile, unit testing and mocking frameworks
Problem solver attitude
Deep understanding of enterprise technologies and business context
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time (varies depending on customer or partner needs)
Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Nice to have :
Hands-on experience with SQL
Ability to explain processes or choices as needed
Experience with Java or similar OOP language is a must-have skill
Experience with functional programming languages
Working knowledge of application security technologies, i.e. OAuth2, SSO, SAML, JWT, etc.
Experience in working and / or writing MuleSoft Connectors
