Knowledge / Skills / Competencies :
Define, Plan and Execute the sales strategy in order to achieve the POS target on the assigned territory
Identify the key partners in the territory (Distributors, Corporate resellers, VAR’s, System Integrators, retail, ecommerce, DMR’s) and develop NETGEAR business with them.
Recruit if needed, build relationships,
Enable both Sales Team and Technical team on NETGEAR Solutions
Assist Partners on the phone and email to close major projects in the territory
Implement channel partner program and promotions
Build forecast and deliver expected POS on a weekly basis
Analyze territory business and drive actions to ensure sales development is inline with set objectives, goals and targets on monthly basis.
Build and maintain strong product knowledge to increase sales effectiveness.
Coordinate internal NETGEAR resources (Engineers Marketing Product marketing Tech Support) to optimize POS in the territory.
Prioritize resources when needed.
Coordinate with distributors local teams and supervise their activities to ensure common objectives are met
Provide all information relevant for NETGEAR to improve business
Provide competitive information, market trends, hidden issues impacting performance
Be responsible to run sales plays in your territory from time to time, which may require you to find a specific type of customer (verticals) or a specific type of partner (specialists) to accelerate the adoption of certain products within the NETGEAR CBU portfolio.
Education / Experience :
Relevant experience, preferably in an inside commercial sales role for a Silicon Valley vendor
Experience in channel sales of Network, -Storage, -security or adjacent products is a must
Experience with Value Added Distribution (VAD) in SMB Vendor is a PLUS
Some experience dealing with projects at both end user and VAR level is a PLUS
Autonomous, self-motivator and go-getter personality
Ready to work for a challenger in a challenging market : tenacity, agility, recognition will come over time and failure should not be a stopper.
Dynamic and Enterprising personality to develop relationship at all levels in partner / reseller organization.
Strong presentation-, analytical, interpersonal and business relationship building skills.
Good level of written and spoken English, Fluent Spainish or European languages are a PLUS.
Have an understanding of the economics’ of partnering and how partnership requirements change over time
Understand how to target market selection and assessment
Understand how vendors and partners work together to achieve customer satisfaction and competitiveness
