Job Description :

The Sr. HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in functions.

The position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues for the Region South and the UK and will be based in Spain out of our Seville office.

The HRBP also acts as an employee champion and change agent. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. Communicating needs proactively with our HR department and business management, the HRBP seeks to develop integrated solutions.

This position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

Your key responsibilities will focus on :

  • Support the business in France, Ireland, Spain as well as the UK. Additional regions may be added in future depending on business requirements.
  • Implement and support HR programs, processes and initiatives such as; performance management, compensation decisions, employee development and recruitment support in order to align with business strategy.
  • Lead activities to maintain a healthy and productive work environment, such as; coaching and development planning, investigating and resolving employee relations issues, compensation planning, hiring and retention of talented employees, and encouraging open, productive dialogue between managers, employees and other partners.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to complex employee relations issues, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Partners with the legal department as needed / required.

  • In conjunction with the Sr. HR Director EMEA, provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, talent and succession planning
  • Support managers and employees through change management initiatives, work force planning, fluctuation in business demand, etc.
  • Use creative problem solving skills to address business needs that are often time sensitive.

  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Analyses trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Developing and implementing HR principles and guidelines as well as processes and structures on an international level together with the HR Operational Manager
  • Support ad hoc initiatives and projects as required
  • Qualifications / Knowledge & Experience :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Administration Degree with a minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; listens and communicates effectively; empathetic; discreet; builds strong relationships;
  • strong influencing skills; team player.

  • Presence, poise, sound judgment has gravitas; is confident, credible and able to earn the respect of the managers in the organization
  • Organization development, L&D experience and project management skills preferred
  • Broad / Generalist HR experience combined with deep functional knowledge
  • International exposure and change management experience
  • Coaching skills
  • Spanish native speaker, fluent English communication skills (speaking and writing required), French is an add on
  • Track record in supporting the Southern region as well as the UK
