The Role

Veeva is seeking to hire a strategy leader for our customer data division, OpenData, as a part of our best-in-class solutions for the Life Sciences industry.

At Veeva, the strategy role is a key is to the success of a product. Strong leadership helps navigate the convergence of sales, marketing, product, and services into a cohesive vision to the market.

You will own the responsibility for the long-term success of Veeva OpenData in the EU market by working across teams to drive results.

This is a remote position. The ideal candidate lives in a major city within the EU.

What You’ll Do

  • Evangelize the value of Veeva OpenData
  • Collaborate with sales teams to define winning sales strategies
  • Define and own clear value proposition metrics for assigned market
  • Champion key themes and high-level requirements for Veeva OpenData in Europe
  • Own and run the strategic relationships with data partners while guiding Veeva Alliances on the proper execution of the partner program
  • Provide research and analysis to support the creation of thought leadership and point of view reports, white papers, articles, blog posts, tweets, and presentations
  • Requirements

  • Based in a major European city
  • 10+ years of work experience that includes : 3+ years of consulting and / or data management (data or software). 3+ years of Life Science / Pharmaceutical focus.
  • At least one role with strategic deliverables

  • Demonstrated record of increased accountability
  • Thrives on delivering results in an unstructured environment
  • Proven to create and manage executive-level relationships
  • Proven to lead and influence a cross-team
  • Demonstrated ability to influence customer decisions
  • Experience with commercial aspects of the Life Sciences industry, including Field Sales or Field Medical, especially in GTM strategy
  • Nice to Have

  • 3-5 years working with reference and transactional data in the Life Sciences industry
