We are a Barcelona-based creative agency looking for a highly talented copywriter, to join our growing Sidekick team. The ideal copywriting maestro will be able to craft bold, attention grabbing copy for our creative campaigns as well as the more research driven articles designed to create discussion points around hot topics within the industry.
Main tasks :
Working with the creative team to build engaging marketing campaigns and attention grabbing headlines.
Writing clear, compelling copy for various mediums (e.g. ads, blog posts, newsletters) to improve SEO and increase traffic via social media channels.
What we’re looking for in our copywriter :
Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice adapting to tone-of-voice guidelines
Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)
Conduct high-quality research.
Edit and proofread copy as needed.
Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach.
Source images and other content.
What we offer :
You'll be joining a small creative agency with very big ambitions. We focus on supporting startups with their advertising initiatives with a strong focus on social media, TV commercials and OOH campaigns across the UK.
You’ll join a multi cultural team and work with international clients.
You'll have the flexibility to work remotely but will be required to work in the studio, when needed (our office is located in the lovely Gràcia neighborhood).
Fluent in English.
5+ years of previous experience as a copywriter or related role.
Understanding of PR and legal Do’s and Don’t when selling services and creating discussion topics with wide reach and accountability.
It’s a plus if you have :
Experience writing copy either for a fintech company or similar industry.
Understand and have experience with SEO keywords
You’ve worked as a copywriter for a startup or the fintech industry in general.
You have experience crafting creative copy for ad campaigns.
Soft skills :
You have storytelling abilities.
You’re up to date with the latest SEO trends and techniques.
You have the ability to work intuitively and proactively.
You understand the communication needs for promotional content in social media.
