The primary purpose of the Senior Manager role is to design and manage Adevinta Early career programmes. This includes provision of coaching and guidance to HR colleagues, participants, line managers and senior leaders on early career talent programmes, frameworks and processes, tools, analytics as well as promoting and embedding best practice.
We are currently running a pilot of three programs but would like to scale this activity in the future.
Initially the focus of the role will be working with leadership teams to identify future capabilities and then build relationships with institutions globally to attract appropriate talent as well as managing current pilots.
The core experience required is a mixture of relationship management, attraction and assessment design and delivery and learning program design and career management.
This role can be based in either Paris or Barcelona - flexible working options are available. Worth noting that 70% travel initially (while visiting universities etc), and then 80% of the role should be based across our Barcelona and Paris hubs.
Defines attraction strategy and manages attraction, assessment and onboarding process working with Employer brand team to promote Adevinta brand globally in the Early Career sector
Sets up and manages relationships with coding schools, universities etc
Acts as an expert resource for global functions such as Product, Tech, Strategy & Finance, People & Comms as well as Local businesses internationally
Maintains roadmap requirements working with HR / local businesses teams to ensure consistency of roadmaps with career plans / maps
Builds capability, consults with stakeholders to identify skills requirements for delivery of the business strategy, plans and delivers fit-for-purpose early career solutions addressing those needs
Provides coaching and guidance on high touch development support frameworks for early career talent pools
Facilitates delivery of the programme including design of learning interventions and career management
Reviews and signs off graduation and off-boarding transition
Essential requirements :
Understanding of talent attraction and development principles and processes
Highly numerate with strong analytical skills; comfortable using analytics to identify insights, recommendations and outcomes to influence capability building decision making.
Able to evaluate the value of HR initiatives and demonstrate an analytical mindset
Understanding of capability building requirements and challenges in technical disciplines (and relevant experience)
Proactively manages and implements change initiatives with all stakeholders in mind and takes appropriate actions early to counter resistance
Understanding of several psychometrics / assessments used in graduate recruitment including AI technology
Experience setting up international graduate contracts.
Strong business acumen, able to show where early career talent management can add value
Puts the customer at the heart of decision making
