Projects Logistics Support Analysis Engineer - Services Spain
Main of the Job
The Project LSA Engineer is responsible for Life Cycle Cost (LCC) production, consolidation and update, as well as to developing Logistic Support Analysis deliverables, and to providing the required maintainability demonstrations to internal and external customers during the execution of Trains ISR-ILS work-packages or Services tenders and projects.
It shall be performed in conformity with ALSTOM ISR-ILS standards and QCD project commitments.
Frequent LSA deliverables are : LSA Management Plans, LCC, LBS, Maintenance Plans, Tasks description for documentation, Maintainability studies, Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Needs of support elements (spare parts, consumables doc, maintenance tools), Level Of Repair Analysis (LORA) Report, Safety requirements allocation and management.
Line and functional reporting to the LSA or ILS Manager within the Services Engineering function

Depot / workshops engineers and fleet responsible
Apply ALSTOM procedures for LSA management on projects and tenders.
Optimizes the scope and related tasks of the Maintenance plan.
Assures efficient parts codification in line with Platform rules : materials identification, codification process, interfaces with Alstom systems, quality and normative requirements.
Develop, consolidate and update Life Cycle Costs (LCC) over ALSTOM or customer tools / format providing the required clarifications to internal and external customers
Proposes actions to optimize Maintenance plans and Life Cycle Cost (LCC).
Participates in the REX process.
Defines the maintenance strategy and maintenance plan at system level.
Works with the engineering and design offices (including RAMS specialist) as part of the design process to establish maintenance requirements (Design for Serviceability).
Writes and validates user and supplier maintenance and repair specifications.
Analyses failure criticality studies and uses RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) and other available methodologies to define and optimize the maintenance requirements, tasks and intervals.
Defines the material and labor requirements including skills required.
Calculates material, parts and time consumption.
Optimizes processes and procedures to obtain the best compromises between the design and maintenance requirements, available facilities, tools, parts and the revenue operation constraints.
Proposes and participates in the development and deployment of R&D programs to improve maintenance operations and ILS production.
Analyses and integrates data coming from Operations (Return on Experience).
Provides technical support to ILS production, collaborating also during tender phase.
Contributes to the standardization and improvement of LSA methods & tools
Comply with ALSTOM standards and QCD targets, including projects DFQ milestones and ISR-ILS Design Review process
Collaborate to manage subcontracted or external services strictly applying ALSTOM procedures.
Engineering degree (or equivalent degree + Master)
Languages : English and Spanish, negotiation level. French, medium level
Wide IT knowledge, including relational databases, spreadsheets, text editors, graphic design applications and documentation design software.
Knowledge of rolling stock maintenance
Valuable knowledge of Alstom ISR-ILS procedures
Knowledge of ISR-ILS scope and methodology (LCC production, Maintainability, RAMS calculations, LORA)
1-3 years of experience in Railways system / Application engineering
1-3 years of experience in Serviceability requirements management and LCC preparation for Railways system. Valuable experience with DOORS and PROVIDOR.
Experience in handling Maintenance Plans and Documentation Management Systems.
Valuable experience with ERP, PLM and PDM solutions.
Valuable experience with ALSTOM-related tools : SAP, CATIA, CLAMP, ILS, DMA, DOORS, PROVIDOR
