The OTA Managerreports to Value Retail Spanish TourismTeam, s / he is responsible for the coordination, planning and execution of the OTA strategy with allkey OTA partners for Spanish Villages.
This important role combines the skillsof a brand ambassador, being the localrepresentative and marketing partnership manager to drive high internationaltourism footfall, spend and revenue targets throughout the year are achievedfor the Spanish Villages.
POSITION DESCRIPTION / OVERVIEW :
This person is responsible to define and develop the key defined. She / he will befocused on OTA& Digital Platforms activations, develop and maintain strong relationship with thelocal OTAs, secure the footfall to the villages, and seek opportunities toincrease the industrial awareness.
In line with VR tourism strategy, thisperson should have strong OTA background and strong travel background.
KEY MEASURES :
Driving increased footfall, averagetransaction value & revenue through promotional activities in local market to promote outbound traffic via all OTA partnersfor European Villages.
Working with Spanish Villages Tourism Director to identify, define and deliver OTA partnerships to increase footfall in all Villages.
Creating, developing & managing key relationships with all OTA
Execute annual marketing activities with defined partners, in order to raise awareness and drive footfall and revenue objectives
RELATIONSHIPCHANNELS REQUIRED :
Developing strong working relationships with local partners to increase international (Chinese mainly) footfalls
Attending regular conference calls and ensuring a minimum of monthly communication with VR Team.
Attending Travel Trade industry events to market the Village in line with Value Retail market strategies.
Developing relationships with other influential groups & organisations in the community.
Requisitos / Requirements
A degree holder with minimum 4 years OTA and travel industry experience / management in China
Proven OTA and offline travel industry knowledge and / or luxury brands essential
Ancillary services savvy (insurance, rental car, shuffle, parking, currency exchange, tours at destination, network (wifi / sim cards, etc...)
Digital Cross-Selling and the intent to travel correlation
Master digital formats, core metrics, tracking tools, ROI measurement,
Ad Tech environment knowledge desirable : Ad Server, Ad Exchange, Data Management Platforms (DMPs) , Supply-side (SSPs), Demand-
side Platforms (DSPs), Trading Desk, etc...
Rich experience in Account Management of multi-layered sales and marketing partnerships.
International experience mandatory with extensive knowledge of China market
Strong interpersonal skills - builds strong and lasting relationships with key partners, colleagues & associates & stakeholders
Self-starter, self-motivated, as well as a team player
Excellent report writing, analytical and project management and delivery skills
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, able to communicate at senior level
Good presentation skills and presence with a broad cosmopolitan mind-set
Computer literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce or equivalent database management system)
Willingness and ability to travel abroad
Fluent in English, Spanish necessary and Chinese desirable.
