About You and this Role

Principal Designer leads multiple teams / Product Designers, and have become a peer to the company’s executives, working with them to set direction.

It is about crafting and selling a vision that compels an organization to embrace that strategy. At this level, the team member’s impact goes beyond their team and direct peers.

Their purview is to frame the end-to-end user experience for their company’s customers and to establish the processes and mindsets to achieve it.

Their efforts influence the work of large swaths of the organization and prove crucial for setting the agenda for the company.

Key Objectives

Reframes company-wide "problems" to suggest new approaches for solving them.

The Big Picture of an entire company's offerings, and how they integrate and coordinate.

Working with partners and stakeholders begins making real change in how the company approaches its business; Articulates vision for the team that excites and inspires leaders and partners.

Develops the process / approach for tackling a design problem, using known methods; anticipates problems; develops facilitation skills to engage cross-functional teams.

Leads the delivery of shipped products; Delivered successful work at the scope of product areas.

Leading visuals at an organizational level

Connects dots from existing products to envisioned products

Required Qualifications

History of shipping products in a variety of industries

Ability to speak and write English fluently
