HBK entered a period of significant ambitions for growth in 2019 after the announcement of the merger in 2018 with a focus of convergence of the multiple legacy brands / businesses to a single company : HBK

As a result, HBK has recently launched a new website (www.hbkworld.com) and is currently working on planning and executing the content migration from legacy websites and the development of new content.

This project has been broken down into phases with a focus on continuous delivery and frequent deployments with an agile approach.

The Functional Lead : This role is pivotal in developing shareable’ web content to support the new HBK website project as well as managing 2 web content management specialists with day-to-day planning of activity.

The administrative / HR responsibilities lie with the Team Lead for Digital.

During this 6-month assignment, the candidate will be focused on enhancing the existing website content plan, develop new content, and audit legacy content to be migrated to the new HBK website.

Working in a project team of 8 people, the dedicated person is responsible for program management of content including overseeing the planning, organization & analysis of existing content, creation of new content supported by subject matter experts, and publishing of content for the website.

In addition to the project team, this position will work closely with the Segment (campaign) Marketing team, the Creative, Digital Marketing, Product Management and potentially Sales teams at HBK in order to develop content that is valuable to the desired target audience.

Roles and responsibilities

Strategy / Tactical : 15% strategic, 85% Tactical

As a Functional Lead : Web Content Manager, you'll be responsible for :

  • Project management of content for the new www.hbkworld.com website, ensuring the initiatives are being scoped, communicated, and resourced accordingly
  • Create and implement content schedules for people to produce or update content
  • Creation of texts and other content (in English for translation to other languages)
  • Organization of internal review processes with various stakeholders
  • Continuous analysis of user flows and conversions and assessment of legacy content to potentially migrate
  • Functionally managing two direct reports for day-to-day activity, guidance, and support (full administration support e.
  • g JD, Annual Leave, Performance reviews etc will be managed by the Team Lead : Digital Product and Performance Marketing Manager)

  • Work with designers, product management, marketing, sales, and other industry experts
  • Coordination and editing of the CMS (Content Management System - Adobe Experience Manager)
  • Produce maps and visualisations of the site to help staff understand the structure and function of the website
  • Support with the process of managing content for the website
  • Analyse analytics data to learn how users interact with the HBK sites
  • Skills and competencies

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Engineering or Business Administration with a focus on marketing / communications / digital
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing in a B2B environment with proven skills in development, management, and execution of initiatives
  • Strong English to write and communicate with the global team in business English
  • Excellent analytical, critical appraisal, problem-solving, and organizational skills including time management and ability to work at a high level with minimal direct supervision.
  • Strong work ethic and ethical behaviour in alignment with Spectris / HBK values of Be true, Own it, Aim high
  • Demonstrated experience in developing partnerships, eliciting cooperation, and working effectively with a range of stakeholders to support company objectives
  • Demonstrate management of uncertainty, change, conflict, and sensitive issues to achieve positive outcomes with a high degree of probity and integrity
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a virtual team
  • Basic to good working knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager, Microsoft suite and Trello (not 100% necessary as we can train individuals on these systems)
