A. (Spain branch) Job description This role will focus / work in close cooperation with the Iberia Legal Manager on the following matters : Issues relating to day-to-day activities in a broad range of issues from consumer, commercial and cross business issues : Drafting and reviewing a range of commercial contracts, including policy wordings, telemarketing scripts, agency, appointed representatives, outsourcing, supply, marketing and distribution agreements.

Attend and conduct meetings or discussions with other divisions in relation to any legal issues, legal documents or policies.

Provision of technical and soft skills training to management and business development teams, with a focus on developing an understanding of the legal issues involved in commercial transactions.

General administration of Legal Department : Conduct research and keep updated on the latest development of relevant laws and insurance regulations (IDD Insurance Distribution).

Maintain and update records of all documentation handled by the legal department. Correspondence with internal and external parties and maintaining documentary record.

Assist with documentation relating to company’s corporate. Preparation and maintenance of standard legal documentation, including assisting with the maintenance and updating AIG Legal’s precedents and related guidance notes, and know-how, to reflect AIG legal requirements and standard documentation suite.
