Purpose of the position :

Manage the personnel under his / her responsibility to ensure the planned production under the standards of the SQDC indicators, promoting and implementing the culture of continuous improvement and compliance with the objectives set by the company to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.

Direct report to Series Managers and / or Section Chief / Workshop Chief according to the center.

Relationships (netwoks & links)

Main internal relations : Logistics, Engineering, Quality, EHS

Main exernal relations : Renfe staff on site and other maintainers.

Responsibilities

Manage the work team in his charge according to the following guidelines :

EHS (SQDC + Kaizen)

  • Performing weekly IGP s of the workshop and implementing improvement actions.
  • Surveillance of security compliance, implementation of VOS and proposal to improve the execution of activities.
  • Carrying out and participating in accident investigation.
  • Propose improvement measures in terms of safety and environment of the workshop to achieve IFR and environment objectives set by the company.
  • Compliance with internal and external Alstom regulations applicable to the center.
  • Quality (SQDC + Kaizen)

  • Apply and improve standard maintenance processes with established quality.
  • Apply Alstom management processes.
  • Monitoring of the execution of activities in the workshop, according to the established daily program.
  • Training / Qualification of the personnel in charge.
  • Management of the qualifications of the personnel under his charge.
  • Assurance of the objective of contractual reliability.
  • Delivery (SQDC + Kaizen)

  • Ensure the execution of the maintenance tasks committed, managing for it the resources under his charge.
  • Assignment of maintenance tasks to operators, monitoring, resolution of incidents in daily production and closure.
  • Comply with the commitments of vehicle availability to maintain.
  • Cost (SQDC + Kaizen)

  • Promote and implement PDCA (Plan Do Check Adjust) actions with the staff in charge of improving the standard cost for each task.
  • Industrialization

  • Promote the culture of continuous improvement of the work team.
  • Carrying out of 5's audits and implementation of improvement actions.
  • Monitoring and analysis of KPI’s Standard Tasks and Planning.
  • Management of improvement proposals.
  • Management :

    Evaluation of the performance of the personnel in charge, proposal of promotions and disciplinary actions.

    Management OTs, FI, ... in GSI and SES, Formations, ratings, trainings, ...

    Management of your work team : Calendar, presence, overtime, absenteeism, activity

    Management as manager of other Alstom tools.

    Measure

    Objectives established annually according to compliance with performance indicators of standard works and compliance with contractual objectives.

    Required Training

    Training at the Electronic Technician level, FP2 or Higher Degree Training Cycle Electricity, Electronics or mechanics

    Valuable Training

    Basic Lean Manufacturing knowledge.

    Prevention of occupational hazards.

    Railway sector technical training.

    Maintenance technical training

    Experience

    Minimum 5 years as an industrial maintenance operator, preferably in the railway sector or academic engineering training.

    Valuable experience in a position with responsibility for managing people and work teams.
