The Front-End Developer is a critical team member within our growing Global Business Intelligence organization. Our team is highly specialized in digital marketing, data visualization and data sciences that can yield valuable market insights and craft effective strategies to capitalize on market opportunities at the right time.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop responsive web pages (landing pages) and emails as key elements of our data driven programs.

You will also work on creative tasks like online ad banners using Adobe Photoshop. You will join a global team of highly-skilled front-end web developers and marketing automation experts, who will train you on the key concepts of email marketing and tools used for marketing automation.

The Front End Developer should have a rudimentary knowledge of a wide breadth of basic knowledge across many overlapping disciplines, including email, PPC, display, video, HTML, user experience, SEO, social, community, blogging, and content.

The Front End Developer supports procedural and operational functions of data driven programs offered through the Ingram Micro Business Intelligence Center.

This includes existing programs and will expand as new services are introduced. The Trainee Program Specialist supports processes and operational structure of the programs.

May lead moderate-sized projects and business process improvement efforts to introduce or improve programs or new components of existing programs.

  • Experience

  • Education : Complete secondary school, college education a plus
  • 2-5 years of professional work experience
  • Experience with marketing automation platform (e.g. Eloqua, Marketo or Silverpop) is strongly preferred, not required
  • Working knowledge of HTML, Dreamweaver, and / or Photoshop (At least 1 year of HTML and 1 year of Photoshop)
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, SQL skills strongly preferred
  • Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports
  • Possess the ability to think strategically, examine and re-engineer operations and procedures and implement new strategies and procedures (At least 1 year showcasing strategic thinking, marketing preferred)
  • Possess the ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal format as well as manage details and represent Ingram Micro in a professional manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with others and foster a cooperative work environment
  • Must possess project and time management skills
  • Must be able to prioritize assignments
  • Skilled in handling projects and good follow up skills
  • Possess the ability to maintain rapport with customer contacts and vendor representatives
  • Program planning and implementation skills; including strong organization skills and conflict resolution
  • Experience in analysis of large data sets identifying trends and patterns and effectively communicating both internally and externally
  • Graphic design skill set a plus
