Software Engineer - Oracle PLSQL & Oracle Forms / Reports
Full Time
As a Software Engineer, you will work in a multidisciplinary team on Oracle technologies to develop and maintain one of our main Backoffice systems.
This Backoffice is a core part of the TUI Musement’s platform and can manage most of our business assets with tenths of integrations with out parts of our ecosystem.
About the Job
You will understand the business needs in collaboration with the product managers to deliver the best solution
You will design and implement both business logic and user interface by using Oracle Forms & Reports; and PL / SQL
You will participate in all aspects of the products, such as : developing, releasing, and supporting it
You will share with the rest of the team the accountability of the product with a deep sense of ownership
You will actively participate in meetings and collaborate with other team members in achieving the team goals and customer satisfaction
With the help of architecture, security and other technical areas you will ensure technical excellence
You will participate in the QA tasks including testing, validation and UAT
You will proactively contribute your ideas to improve the team’s day-to-day work
You will report to the team’s Engineering Manager
About you
Strong Oracle database knowledge for development and previous work experience with it
Strong Oracle PL / SQL and Oracle Forms / Reports knowledge and previous work experience with it
Basic integrations skills including knowledge of data interchange formats such as XML and JSON
Product engineer mindset : good understanding of the entire product development process
Passion for software development and the ability to communicate and collaborate at all levels of the organization
Agile mindset
Familiarity with CI / CD development process, especially Gitlab
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent
Any experience with other languages such as Java, Go, Python or C#
Any experience or knowledge in cloud solutions, especially AWS
Any experience or knowledge in modern architectures, like Serverless, containers, K8S and microservices
