    So, if you match these values, you can keep reading. We are hiring a Postdoc Genomics Researcher (nanopore sequencing)

    Tasks to be performed :

  • Co-lead research project with high potential impact in the genomics research area, specifically using nanopore sequencing technologies.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical project documentation.
  • Participate in the preparation of R&D proposals.
  • Mentor less experience designers (according to the candidate experience).
  • Required skills, experience and candidate profile :

  • PhD in Computational Biology, Genomics or similar.
  • Experience with nanopore technologies at user level.
  • Experience with nanopore technologies at development level.
  • Experience with nanopore technologies at error correction level.
  • Open minded and ready to be challenged with multi-disciplinary R&D projects.
  • Experience in bioinformatics is a plus.
  • Experience with bio instrumentation is a plus.
  • Proficient in English. Spanish is a plus.
  • The candidate must be eligible to work in the EU.
  • IMPORTANT. Please, only apply if you have a valid working visa for Spain, and you are willing to move to Tenerife (Canary Islands).
